I have been working on this following a conversation I had with renowned tour coach PGA Master Professional Denis Pugh. If you start the downswing with your hands Denis showed me how he coudl hold me back with his little finger on the shaft, but if I started the downswing with the body he had no chance of stopping me.! Result = more powerful and consistent swing as you nolonger have to rely on the inconsistencies of the hands.
